TEMA:
Flores (en todas sus dimensiones) Todos sus aspectos serán
aceptados. No existe límite en el tamaño. Por ejemplo,
puede ser una puntilla con flores o quizas el participante prefiera
realizar una flor tridimensional.
INFORMACION GENERAL:
El dictamen será: por la interpretación, técnica,
realización y aspecto general. Se le asignará un
número y será valorado anónimamente. El
jurado estará compuesto por los profesores que participan
en las jornadas. Cada jurado realizará un acta con sus
decisiones. Los trabajos serán expuestos durante las jornadas
y posteriormente en el Museo Arqueológico de Jávea
y serán devueltos por correo certificado a finales de
Diciembre del 2002. El fallo del Jurado se hará público
durante la Cena de Gala el día 2 de Noviembre 2002. Una
vez elegidos los premios serán publicados con el nombre
de cada participante en un futuro número de La Encajera.
La Encajera se reserva el derecho de publicar fotografías
de los participantes del concurso, en la revista o en futuras
publicaciones. Habrán pequeños obsequios para todos
los participantes.
NORMAS PARA PARTICIPAR:
1. Se puede utilizar cualquier técnica de encaje:
encaje de bolillos, encaje a la lanzadera (frivolité),
encaje de aguja, bordados, etc.
2. También pueden participar grupos y puede ser
diseñado por unapersona y realizada por otra, aunque solamente
se entregará un premio por el conjunto del encaje, o sea
por participación.
3. Cada grupo o persona puede participar con tres piezas
en las técnicas que desee.
4. Se debe incluir el nombre, dirección, teléfono,
técnica de realización (ej.: nº de hilo, nº
de bolillos, patrón, etc.). No se aceptan patrones en
papel cuadriculado.
5. Las flores/encajes deben ser recibidos antes del 15
de Septiembre de 2002.
6. No se aceptan patrones en papel cuadriculado.La participación
en el concurso comporta la aceptación de las bases.

1º Un viaje a Canarias.
2º Fin de semana en un Parador.
3º Un mundillo típico español con patrón
y bolillos. 4º Libros.
5º Suscripción a la revista "La Encajera".
6º Cestas de hilos.

Theme
Flowers - All types are accepted in any shape or form, There
are no size limitations. For example the entry could be flowers
within a piece of lace edging, or a three dimensional flower
standing on its own.
General Information
The judging will be based on interpretation, technique, work,
and general appearance. Each piece will be assigned a number
and will be judged anonymously. The teachers participating in
the lace event will judge the entries. There will be another
jury for the special artistic prize.
The lace pieces will be exhibited during the Lace Event and later
in the Arqueological Museum of Javea and will be returned by
registered mail at the end of December, 2002. Winners will be
published in a future issue of La Encajera. The prizes will be
presented at the Gala Dinner November 2nd 2002 (the weekend of
the Lace Event.) La Encajera reserves the right to publish photos
of any piece submitted in any future publication.
All participants will receive a gift. There is no entry fee.
Contest Rules
1. Any type of lace
technique is accepted: bobbin lace, needle lace, tatting, etc.
2. Two artists can present one entry (i.e. one designer
and one lace maker) but only one prize will be given per entry.
3. There is a limit of three entries per person.
4. Entrant must specify : name/s, address, telephone,
technique used and details of the work (e.g. thread used, number
of bobbins, pattern, etc.
5. Entries must reach the address below before September
15th, 2002.
6. The pattern and instructions must be written on plain
white paper. (no graph paper allowed).
Prizes
1st - A trip to the Canary Islands.
2nd - A weekend in a Parador.
3rd - Spanish pillow with bobbins, and patterns.
4th - Lace books.
5th - Subscription to La Encajera magazine.
6th - Basket with threads.
