1. Any type of lace technique is accepted: bobbin lace, needle lace, tatting, etc. It must be designed and made by the participant/s.
2. It is necessary to specify your name, address, telephone, technique used and details of the work (e.g. thread used, number of bobbins, pattern, etc.).
3. The judging will be based on, interpretation, technique, work, and general appearance.
4. Each piece will be assigned a number and will be judged anonymously. Pieces must reach us before the 15^th of September 1999.
5. The prizes will be presented at the Gala Dinner at the Parador on October 10^th 1999. Winners will be published in a future issue of La Encajera.
6. La Encajera reserves the right to publish photos of any piece submitted.
7. Once the contest has finished the lace pieces will be returned by registered mail. All participants will receive a gift.

Prizes:

1. A trip to Balearic Island of Mallorca.
2. A weekend for two in the Parador de Turismo of your choice.
3. Spanish pillow with bobbins, patterns,

... and many prizes.
